Saving Draft Email Messages

AUDIENCE: Administrators, Marketing Users

In Act-On, you can easily create and send messages and save them as drafts within the Drafts section. Once in the Drafts section, they will be available for you to reuse over and over again.

To save an email message as a draft:

  • Once you have established your message content, you can save it as a draft by clicking Save in the upper right corner.
  • A window will appear confirming your message saved. Click either Continue Editing or Close.

To locate your draft:

  • Click on Outbound > Drafts. You will see the folders on the left-hand side of the window. Click on the folder and you will see your draft on the right-hand side.
  • To return to your saved draft message, hover over the message title, click the down-arrow > Resume Edit.


Note: As you're making changes in your message, always save as you go. This way, it will always be saved and you can come back to it at any time.
