Managing Draft Email Messages

AUDIENCE: Administrators, Marketing Users

When you create an email message in Act-On, it can be saved as a draft to allow you to save your current work/progress. Draft messages can be found by navigating to Outbound Drafts.

Within the Drafts page, you'll be able to create folders to organize the draft messages you've saved for further edits. Using the Search field in the top-right, you can locate specific draft messages.

From the drafts page you can also hover over a draft message to choose from the following options: Preview, Resume Edit, Copy, Move, Delete, or Make Landing Page.

Use the steps below to create and manage folders on the Drafts page:

  • Clicking the + icon above the folder tree will allow you to create new Folders.
  • Double-click on any folder (except for “Default Folder”) to either rename or delete it.
    • You can delete a folder by clicking the trash icon in the pop-up window.
  • You can click and drag the folders to re-arrange them.
