Using the Inbound Feature to Optimize Landing Pages

OBJECTIVES: Identify the process of optimizing your Act-On landing pages for Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Act-On Inbound is a suite of inbound capabilities that help you excel at search engine optimization, maximize the potential of your blog, and see the ROI of your AdWords campaigns. It unites with your outbound marketing to deliver the best overall results for your campaigns.

Act-On Inbound generates an SEO Audit report to help your Act-On landing pages display higher in search engine results based on the keywords that you add and select for analysis. The SEO Audit report provides an analysis of the web page including page title, URL page name, description, headings, body content, and image alt text. The steps outlined below will show you how to use Act-On Inbound to optimize your Act-On landing pages.

To Add and Select SEO Keywords to Audit Your Web Pages:

  • Hover over the web page, and click the down-arrow > Report.
  • Click the Keywords tab.
  • Enter a keyword in the Add Keyword field, and click Add.
  • Once you've added the keywords, select the keywords to be used to generate the SEO Audit report.
 Note: If you need to remove any of the keywords, hover over them and click Delete
  • Click Re-Audit.
  • Click the Audit tab.

Once the Audit is Complete, Edit Your Landing Page and Conduct a Re-audit 

  • Click Edit while in the Audit tab.

  • Enable the SEO checkbox.
  • Click the SEO tab within the landing page builder.

  • Enter a page title, URL page name, description, and click SEO Report.
  • Click Save.

  • Hover over the landing page, and click Report.
  • Click Re-Audit.

After Generating the SEO Audit Report, Send the Report to Any Email Address:

  • Click Send Report while in the SEO Audit Report window.
  • Enter the email address to send to in the Email Address field.
  • Click Send.
  • You can also print the report by clicking Print
