Standard Salesforce Fields for Act-On

AUDIENCE: Administrators, Marketing Users
OBJECTIVES:

While your Organization may have custom data for each Salesforce Object, below you will find a list of the standard fields that Act-On reads for various elements within the platform:


  • Optional for personalization in email
  • Required for form pushes

Last Name

  • Optional for personalization in email
  • Required for form pushes

Email

  • Required for email sends
  • Required for form pushes

Company/Account

  • Optional for personalization in email
  • Required for form pushes

Lead Score

  • Strongly encouraged custom field to collect Act-On Behavior Score

Owner ID

  • Required for Lead/Contact ownership: Hot Prospects, Website Prospectors report filtering
  • Optional for personalization and personalized from address

Owner Name

  • Optional to validate lead/contact owner
  • Required for Revenue Impact report to show New Leads Generated

Opt-Out

  • Optional for bi-synchronization of opt outs

Hard Bounce

  • Optional to push hard bounces to Salesforce
  • Required for Revenue Impact report to show Opportunities created during time period selected
  • Required for Revenue Impact report to show won opportunities
  • Required for Revenue Attribution report (will not appear in RAR if the stage is not closed/won)
  • Required for Google Adwords report to show Closed (Won) data

Amount

  • Required for Revenue Impact report to show revenue for open opportunities (pipeline), closed opportunities, and average opportunity amount
  • Required for Revenue Attribution report to show revenue from closed/won opportunities as ‘attributed revenue’
  • Required for Google Adwords report to show revenue from closed/won opportunities

Close Date

  • Required for Revenue Impact report to show closed opportunities during the time period selected in the report
  • Required for Revenue Attribution report to show closed/won opportunities for the time period selected in the report
  • Required for Revenue Attribution report to show name of Opportunity when you click on the numeric value under ‘# Touches’ and ‘# Deals’
  • Required for Revenue Impact report to show new opportunities created per opportunity lead source
  • Required for Revenue Impact report to show which Salesforce Campaigns influenced opportunities
  • Required for Revenue Impact report to show which Salesforce Campaigns influenced opportunities
