OBJECTIVES: Learn how to reset your Salesforce security token to establish the connector between Salesforce and Act-On
For example, if your password is 'mypassword' and your security token is 'XXXXXXXXXX', then you must enter 'mypasswordXXXXXXXXXX' to log in. Security tokens are required when you log in via the Act-On connector.
To reset your security token, follow the steps below.
- Click Your Name (in Salesforce) in the upper right-hand corner.
- Click Setup > My Personal Information > Reset Security Token.
- Click the Reset Security Token button.
- The new security token will be sent via email to the address on your Salesforce user record.
