Syncing Lead Scores with Salesforce

  • Apply Act-On behavior scores to your custom Salesforce Behavior Score field
  • Push Act-On behavior score data to Salesforce through a list sync


The Act-On behavior score (or lead score) can easily be synchronized with your Salesforce account. This will help your sales team identify hot opportunities by the way your leads and contacts are interacting with your Act-On marketing efforts.

You will need to log in to your Salesforce account directly to create custom fields to accommodate the Act-On behavior score for both leads and contacts. This is described in the Salesforce Integration Guide.

To begin pushing this score into your Salesforce leads and contacts:

  1. Access your Salesforce connector by clicking Settings > Connectors
  2. Under CRM choose Salesforce, or click the Salesforce icon
  3. Click the Score Setup button
  4. Enter the field label that you created as a custom field in your Salesforce instance for your leads and contacts
  5. Go to Contacts > Marketing Lists and locate your Salesforce Leads and Contacts List
  6. Click the dropdown arrow on the right side of the list, then choose Import/Export > Salesforce Sync Setup
  7. Select Add List Columns
  8. Select the field you are using for the lead score
  9. Click Save
  10. Select Select Push-Update Fields
  11. Select the field you are using for the score
  12. Click Save

Once your next Salesforce synchronization is complete, the Act-On behavior score will be inserted into the Leads and Contacts fields. The field will be updated upon each sync between Act-On and Salesforce.
