Integrating and Managing Salesforce

Act-On's integration with Salesforce allows for data sharing between systems in both directions.


  • Use your Salesforce database for mailings and intelligence gathering
  • Salesforce users can see any marketing activities after a lead/contact participates
  • Use Salesforce fields (standard and custom) on the lead/contact for marketing and segmentation


  • The databases synchronize to push and pull data between the two systems
  • You can pull your full list of leads/contacts, any saved reports, and any Salesforce campaign into Act-On
    • Once imported, Act-On creates independent lists with your CRM contacts' data
    • You can send them email campaigns, segment and manipulate the data, or add newly-qualified leads to the list for creation in your Salesforce account
  • Act-On can integrate with Salesforce Professional, Enterprise and Unlimited editions
    • Salesforce does not currently provide integration support for its Group or Contact Manager editions
