Removing Contacts from Wait Steps Manually


The Wait Until step allows you to pause contacts from moving forward until a specific day and/or time. However, sometimes a contact may accidentally get into a program that shouldn't be there. Any contacts in a "wait" type step (Wait, Wait Until, Wait Until In Segment) can now be manually removed from the program. Once removed, the contact will immediately exit the program.

Here's how to move those contacts out of the program:

  1. Click Automation > Automated Programs
  2. Hover over the program that you need to remove a contact from, then click Dashboard
  3. Click Step, find the wait step the contacts are in, and click the number of waiting contacts
  4. Locate the line for the contact you need to delete and click the x on the far right
